Help functions appear on all REGISTERS DIRECT screens via the Help[?] link. A context driven help, using pop-ups on all fields, is available as the user navigates the system.

Customers with REGISTERS DIRECT technical problems, or issues relating to logging on, refunds, password changes, addition or deletion of users, copy invoices and invoice queries should contact the eServices Helpdesk on 0845 607 0160 or email eservices@ros.gov.uk.

Charging and Invoicing

Invoices are issued fortnightly.

To add value to your business key benefits of the system allow for “utilised audit trails” – the opportunity to trace a transaction from search to invoice; this allows for speedy posting of search charges to the appropriate billing. Users are able to view the cumulative spend incurred during a session of searching.

Adding value to your business - an unusual claim. Two key aspects of the system are a realtime Fee counter and 'unitised audit trails' - the ability to trace a transaction from search to invoice. Viewing how much you spend on line and then being able to allocate the charge to a specific cost centre saves money by automating part of the accounting process.

Outputs

An extensive range of output forms to suit your business needs. In addition to the search output displays and browsing of results, the user can output to a local printer (watermarked and authenticated with date/time) or email the results (with encrypted security tags which stops the message being changed after issue).
